Primever Group will offer at Fruit Attraction a specific expertise and a unique network in the organisation of transport and logistics services for the fruit and vegetable industry (controlled temperature) and industrial goods (ambient temperature) in France, Europe and overseas.
Attentive to the market and its players, the Primever Group is at the heart of the value chain between producers (cooperatives, transporters) and distributors (supermarkets, wholesalers, specialists).
Through our unique network, we are able to operate throughout the entire logistics chain by combining four complementary areas:
- Road transport of fruit and vegetables in France and Europe: We take care of the collection, consolidation, grouping and distribution of fresh produce from the production regions to the consumer. Our extensive experience guarantees the freshness and quality of fruit and vegetables until they reach their destination.
- International transport, transit and customs: Our teams handle sea and air transit operations, including customs clearance, to offer turnkey solutions. This international perspective on logistics enables us to meet the diverse needs of our customers around the world.
Logistics: Our modern facilities are equipped for warehousing and cross-docking. We are able to handle all types of orders, from processed products to fresh goods. We guarantee traceability, safety and delivery of your products.
- We offer groupage solutions for industrial products and full truck load (FTL) transport throughout France and Europe.
In 2023, the Group reached a new major milestone with the opening of the fruit terminal at the port of Sète. Located in the western Mediterranean, the Sète terminal is an ideal gateway for the import and export of products. It has 450 metres of berthing space (Pier E) with a draught of 12 metres, capable of accommodating large vessels. The terminal stands out for its temperature-controlled facilities, essential for maintaining the quality of fruit and vegetables. It can handle both conventional pallets and refrigerated containers, guaranteeing compliance with quality and traceability standards. This allows the integrity of the cold chain to be maintained from the arrival of the products until their final delivery. The inauguration of this terminal was marked by a major operation: the handling of 8,000 pallets of lychees from Madagascar, just in time for the Christmas season. This operation highlighted our expertise in maritime logistics and transport management throughout Europe.
The terminal's proximity to key national markets such as St Charles, Cavaillon and Châteaurenard reinforces its strategic role as a distribution centre for fruit and vegetables.
- Strategic location: Ideally located in the Western Mediterranean, it offers easy access to the main markets. - 24/7 administrative services: Continuous availability of phytosanitary certificates and customs services, ensuring smooth operations.
- Extensive berthing facilities: The terminal offers 450 metres of berthing space with a substantial draft, suitable for large vessels. - Temperature-controlled storage: Our facilities offer temperature-controlled quayside storage to maintain product quality.
- Proximity to major markets: Proximity to major markets such as St Charles, Cavaillon and Châteaurenard. - Easily accessible port: The port of Sète is less congested and easily accessible for road transport, which improves our logistical efficiency.
