FRESH PRODUCE PROMOTED AT FHC CHINA 2019

The fresh produce sector will take centre-ground at the 23rd edition of FHC China in Shanghai. The event will take place from 12th to 14th November 2019 at the Shanghai New International Expo Centre, covering fifteen halls and more than 180,000m2. Over 3,500 participants from 73 countries and regions will be in attendance where the high quality of imported food and drink products will be showcased.

“26% CHINA FRUIT IMPORTS GROWTH in 2018” China imports of fresh fruit registered again a record growth of 26% increase and almost achieved the volume of 4,9 million tons. The long term growth is fuelled by China consumers preference for imported produce, the strong growth of every distribution channels and the government policy to open for imports (protocols opened).

Emsur Madrid inaugurates its new facilities and state-of-the-art machinery at its headquarters

September gets off to a flying start for Emsur with the inauguration its new facilities in Alcalá de Henares, the global headquarters of the Emsur Division. This milestone was marked by a celebratory event for its employees. The project forms part of the company’s strategic plan and has involved the construction of a new production building and the installation of machines incorporating state-of-the-art technology for printing and laminating flexible packaging.

Egypt showcases its traditions to attract new markets at the centenary of Anuga

Egypt will be taking part in the most important international trade fair for the food and beverage sector, Anuga, which is celebrating its centenary on 5-9 October in Cologne. Ekwador został nazwany oficjalnym krajem partnerskim FRUIT LOGISTICA 2020 (5-7 lutego w Berlinie). Na wiodącej wystawie dotyczącej światowego handlu owocami kraj andyjski zaprezentuje światu dziedzictwo rolne Ekwadoru, stając się międzynarodowym producentem wysokiej jakości świeżych owoców i warzyw. W latach 2014-2018 Ekwador wyeksportował ponad 3,5 miliarda USD świeżych produktów, głównie do Rosji, USA, Włoch, Niemiec, Turcji i Chin.

Obeikan MDF zaprezentuje się po raz pierwszy na Expoalimentaria Perú

Obeikan MDF, hiszpańska firma produkująca opakowania MDF, weźmie udział w nadchodzącej edycji Expoalimentaria Perú jako wystawca. Największe wydarzenie dla przemysłu spożywczego w Ameryce Łacińskiej, które odbędzie się w dniach 25–27 września w peruwiańskiej stolicy Limy. W tegorocznej edycji firma pakująca Obeikan MDF bierze udział po raz pierwszy z własnym stoiskiem o powierzchni 24 metrów kwadratowych, E61-E62, w Jockey Exhibition Centre.

VOG: Strategia zmian do 2025

W ciągu najbliższych pięciu lat planowane jest ponad 1800 hektarów inwestycji w nowe odmiany. Obszary Golden Delicious, Red Delicious i Braeburn zostaną zmniejszone. Ponad 300 nowych hektarów jest już w fazie przejściowej i zostanie przeznaczona na rolnictwo ekologiczne. Ponad 10.000 hektarów jabłoni jest uprawianych przez prawie 5000 producentów związanych z konsorcjum VOG. Te gospodarstwa, które w większości są prowadzone przez rodzinę, mają średnio kilka hektarów, a ich rentowność zależy od ich wyboru odmiany.
