The newly founded World Citrus Organization (WCO) was officially launched at Fruit Attraction

With this official presentation, citrus fruits are finally placed at the same level of coordination worldwide as other fruit categories, such as pears & apples, kiwis, avocado or red fruits, which already have their own global platforms. The WCO will act as the global platform for dialogue and action between the citrus producing countries worldwide. The core aim of the WCO is to facilitate member countries to better face common challenges.

Strawberries, Rimini hosts the IX edition of the International Strawberry Symposium

The event, to be held from 2 to 6 May 2020, will include initiatives involving all players within the supply chain, from the world of research to industry and distribution. The IX Edition of the International Strawberry Symposium, organised by Università Politecnica delle Marche and CREA - the Italian Council for agricultural research and analysis of the agricultural economy - in association with the International Society for Horticultural Science (ISHS), will take place in Rimini from 2 to 6 May 2020.

Foodex 2019” Extensive International and Local Participation

The Fruit Attraction Organisers’ Committee expects a 10% growth in the next edition

The director of the fair, Raúl Calleja, reported on the latest participation figures for the eleventh edition, with an expected increase of 10% compared to 2018. Exhibition space will exceed 55,000 square metres and the number of exhibitors will rise to 1,800. Likewise, the visitor numbers will exceed 90,000, from 130 countries. The eleventh edition of Fruit Attraction will take place from Tuesday, 22 to Thursday, 24 October.

12. edycja corocznej konferecji już za nami

Fresh Market 2019 zgromadził przedstawicieli sektora produkcji owoców i warzyw umożliwiając im spotkanie z handlowcami krajowych i zagranicznych sieci handlowych. Tradycją konferencji są także prelekcje i panele dyskusyjne omawiające wyzwania stojące przed branżą. W roku bieżącym odbyły się dwa takie panele, a pierwszy z nich poświęcony był sytuacji i wyzwaniom na krajowym rynku świeżych warzyw i owoców.
