CIV’s varietal innovation also stars at Asia Fruit Logistica: great interest for the latest varieties on apple and pear trees, and strawberries. The international Strawberry Congress – where CIV was a Gold Sponsor – is wholly dedicated to strawberries and is organised by Coöperatie Hoogstraten cv which produces over 30,000 tons/year of strawberries. For three days, industry representatives from all over the world gathered to take stock of strawberries worldwide.

Macfrut 2018 in five continents: starting international promotion

27 missions over the course of 7 months to promote Macfrut, which in 2017 saw a major increase in both visitors and foreign exhibitors (+30%). The promotion abroad of the 2018 edition of Macfrut - the international trade fair for the fruit and vegetable sector to be held in Rimini from 9 to 11 May – has begun by defining the programme of international missions.
