Fastest waiter in Dubai wins again

Egyptian national Mahmoud El Rawey, from JA Ocean View, beat off stiff competition for the second year in succession to win the third annual TIME Hotels Dubai Waiters’ Race, which took place on 17 November 2017. And there was even more cause for celebration for Mahmoud as he and his team-mates also scooped first prize in the relay race. Commenting on his win, Mahmoud said: “We’ve got a great team here, we all work hard, and we’ve obviously been training every day."

MoU signed for CHINA FRUIT LOGISTICA

logitrans 2017: Interest in Turkish market remains strong

International Green Week Berlin 2018, 19 to 28 January 2018 - Dual role for Bulgaria

At the beginning of 2018, when Bulgaria takes over the presidency of the EU Council and the role of partner country at the forthcoming International Green Week Berlin, it will be hoping for an important boost to its farming industry. Taking as its slogan ’Flavour of the Sun’ and occupying all of Hall 10.2 on the Berlin Exhibition Grounds, the country will be offering an experience for all the senses. The 83rd Green Week since the fair’s launch in 1926 will take place from 19 to 28 January 2018.

VENDIBÉRICA 2017 attracted a record number of participants, chalking up 9,000 trade professionals and 150 exhibitors.

The synergies resulting from holding the event to coincide with FRUIT ATTRACTION and EAT2GO enabled the organisers to attract record numbers of operators from the vending, public vending and horeca channel. VENDIBÉRICA was scheduled to coincide with EAT2GO, the first monographic event for the Food Delivery and Takeaway industries.

The results of Fruit Attraction were even better than expected, since the event drew more than 68,000 trade professionals from 110 countries.

A total of 19,947 foreign trade professionals registered for the trade fair, representing an increase of more than 97%. More than 1,500 exhibitor companies from 34 countries took part in the 9th edition, an increase of 20% compared to last year. A total of 68,161 professionals from 110 countries took part (17% more than last year) with 1,500 companies from 34 countries, an increase of 20%.
