Macfrut grows international appeal

This year’s trade show was an international hit with 25% of visitors and 23% of exhibitors (up 30% on 2016) from overseas, representing over 40 countries and five continents. Macfrut 2017 (10-12 May) was a demonstration, and confirmation, that the fair is a hub for the international fresh produce industry.

The 34th edition of Macfrut records higher numbers

This year’s edition of Macfrut recorded higher numbers: a larger exhibition area compared to last year (increased from 43,000 to 50,000 square metres); a growing number of exhibitors (risen from 1,000 to 1,100) and of visitors (from 38,000 to 39,000). And, above all, the number of foreign visitors increased to 25% of the total. In short, Macfrut has proven to be a trade fair offering a wide range of contents and with increasing international appeal.

Macfrut 2018: here's all the news

The 35th edition to be held in Rimini from 9th to 11th May 2018. Once again, Macfrut will feature many innovations, analysing and showcasing trends in the diverse fruit and vegetable industry.

A strawberry day at Macfrut

International Green Week Berlin, 19 to 28 January 2018

HIPPOLOGICA to be a public attraction at the International Green Week as of 2018.
After celebrating its twenty-fifth anniversary last December HIPPOLOGICA is due to strategically reposition itself. The capital’s number one indoor equestrian event will now take place on the last four days of the International Green Week Berlin 2018 (19 – 28 Jan.). Thus, next year HIPPOLOGICA will run from 25 to 28 January 2018.

Macfrut has started with a focus on Asia and the Middle East

Many events on the first day: the Green House project for the “Stop trafficking” initiative in Africa and the Asian market Forum. Innovations also awarded with the Macfrut Innovation Award. At the Rimini Expo Centre, Macfrut opened exceptionally well. Many initiatives were held on the first day of the event (yesterday 10th May), starting with the presentation of the Green House project, implemented in Ghana
