Beyond Tasty: Top Honorees Contribute in Clean Eating to Be Commended at A.A. Taste Awards Ceremony in Japan on March 12th

The Anti Additive Association is going to host its 2019 A.A. Taste Awards Ceremony at the International Conference Room of Makuhari Messe, Foodex Japan on 12th March 2020, honoring businesses that promote and produce wholesome additive-free food in the world.

The awards have rewarded numerous restaurants and businesses in F&B industry for their dedication to producing additive-free food in their market since 2016. The. A.A. Taste Awards is widely known as the world’s premier clean label related awards, and considered as the top food and beverage awards with Monde Selection, International Taste & Quality Institute (ITQI), and Great Taste Awards. The candidates manage to deliver quality, healthy and delicious food.

With nearly 1,000 products submitted by candidates from 60 countries, the 2019 A.A. Taste Awards Ceremony in Japan will be the 4th ceremony after being held in Australia, Thailand and Hong Kong over the past years. Nominations were submitted by judge panels in several nations across Asia Pacific, Europe, North and South America, Africa, and Middle East.
Well-known Michelin starred restaurants including Due Italia (Japan), Rech by Alain Ducasse (Hong Kong), Amò (Singapore), and Restaurant de Blanckenborgh (The Netherlands) are on the list this year.

The jury panel includes professionals of food and beverage industry, Michelin chefs such as Stefano and Felice Lo Basso from Italy and Andreu Genestra from Spain, dietitians, and academics. The evaluation criteria include food and dish presentation, aroma, texture, flavor, and the additive-free level. The overall scores determine the rank: Great Taste Awards, Special Jury Awards, 3 Stars, 2 Stars, and 1 Star among the winners.

Today at the Rimini Expo Centre, Minister Francesco Lollobrigida has opened the 42nd edition of the international fruit and vegetable trade fair. From today to 8 May, the trade fair will be packed: 1,400 exhibitors (40% from abroad), 1,500 buyers, themed exhibitions, around 100 events. One of the new features is a large arena dedicated to healthy food, The Healthy Food Show, with 11 Italian celebrity testimonials in conversation with chefs and scientific experts. »
