Don Limón unveils flexible direct sourcing partnerships for corporate retailers

Don Limón – the international fresh fruit exporter-importer – is excited to announce the launch of its retail partnership programme to offer greater flexibility as the trend towards direct sourcing intensifies. 

The company is calling on global retail buyers of table grapes and citrus to build long-term, tailored partnerships with Don Limón’s sourcing and distribution offices worldwide for seamless and true direct procurement from the country of origin straight to retail warehouses. 

Via a range of value-added services and holistic solutions, Don Limón is offering a direct supply of grapes from India, South Africa and Egypt, plus citrus from South Africa and Egypt, as well as limes from Mexico and Brazil.

Andreas Schindler, Don Limón’s Co-Founder and CEO, reveals: “I want to intensify our dialogue with grape and citrus retail buyers to create long-term purchasing partnerships with Don Limón’s global sourcing and distribution offices in India, South Africa, Egypt and Mexico.”

Over 6,000 artworks for the Marlene contest

Over 6,000 images from 36 countries and 25,000 likes received by the gallery on the website, which brings together all the “artworks” that have arrived in Terlano. These are the figures for a successful initiative: the international digital contest launched by VOG to celebrate the 25th anniversary of Marlene®, the South Tyrolean Consortium’s flagship brand. Launched on 15 September and concluded two months later on 15 November, the contest gave consumers the opportunity to express Marlene®’s values and illustrate what the Daughter of the Alps apple represents to them. »

TSW will take place on April 23-24, 2021

For the sake of participants’ security and good quality of Fruit and Vegetable Industry Fair, the organizers decided to postpone TSW 2021. The event, initially planned for January 2021, will take place on April 23-24, 2021. The change of the date will enable the participants to benefit the most from the participation in the event, while being provided with safe conditions. The decision to change the TSW date was taken after consulting the exhibitors, partners and representatives of the fruit and vegetable industry. »
