Interpoma China: New location Shanghai for the third edition

22 January 2019

After the first two editions held in the Weihai Exhibition Centre, Fiera Bolzano brings the apple world back to China, with a change of location and dates: Interpoma China 2019 will be held in April at the Shanghai New International Expo Center.

The Chinese market is getting more and more attractive for the apple sector:  China is the first producer in the world, with 44 million tons, and has an ever-increasing need to innovate the methods of cultivation and move towards a more sustainable development of the supply chain.

For this reason, Fiera Bolzano is once again organizing Interpoma China this year, an event full of opportunities for all those working in the sector and who want to approach the Chinese apple market in a professional way. The 2019 edition will be held from 15 to 17 April 2019 in Shanghai, the beating heart of the Chinese economy, as part of Fresh Logistics Asia organized by Messe München Shanghai.

These days the exhibitors' campaign is in full swing, with confirmations from Italian, European and Chinese companies emerging: "We believe that Interpoma China represents a flagship in the sector. We have chosen to collaborate with Messe München Shanghai to be able to reach an even more professional and international audience," says Thomas Mur, CEO of Fiera Bolzano Exhibition Center.

The Chinese trade show, like Interpoma in Bolzano, will be accompanied on all three days by the international congress "The Apple in the World", coordinated by the renowned apple expert Kurt Werth. Speakers from Italy, Europe, New Zealand and China will speak at the three sessions on topics related to production in Asia, new varieties and characteristics of the fruit, innovations in the field of sustainability in agriculture and topics concerning cultivation techniques, as well as case histories of success in China.
