For the 11th consecutive year WOP DUBAI was organized under the Patronage of His Highness Sheikh Hamdan Bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Deputy Ruler of Dubai, UAE, Minister of Finance and Chairman of Dubai Municipality. The exhibition took placed on November 12, 13 and 14, 2019 at the Dubai World Trade Centre, alongside, the 14th edition of IPM DUBAI – International Plants Expo Middle East, the region’s leading exhibition for plants and flowers. Both shows were inaugurated by H.E. Buti Saeed Al Ghandi, Second Vice Chairman of the Board, Dubai World Trade Centre authority along with H.E. Thomas Kufen – the Lord Mayor of the city of Essen and are organized by planetfair Dubai and Messe Essen GmbH in cooperation with the Dubai Municipality and Dubai Central Fruit and Vegetable Market, the Middle East’s biggest market for import and export.

The total outcome of the show 2019 year reflected again the huge growth in the trade of perishables in the Middle East and proved the position of WOP DUBAI as the only trade fair for fresh produce in the region as well as strengthen the emirates of Dubai as an important destination and a worldwide trading center for fruits and vegetables. The constant growth of past years continued in 2019 year.
