ASIA FRUIT LOGISTICA heads back to Hong Kong

Asia’s premier fresh fruit and vegetable trade show returns to AsiaWorld-Expo in Hong Kong on 6-8 September 2023.The ASIA FRUIT LOGISTICA Virtual Focus Day opens on 12 October.

Asia continues to drive the growth of the global fresh produce trade, and Hong Kong lies at the heart of the region which is home to more than 20 different markets. As the region’s premier fresh produce trade show, ASIA FRUIT LOGISTICA has made the strategic decision to return to Hong Kong, its long-established location, in 2023.

ASIA FRUIT LOGISTICA will take place at AsiaWorld-Expo on 6-8 September 2023, bringing together leading players from across the global fresh fruit and vegetable industry and throughout the value chain. It will take place together with ASIAFRUIT CONGRESS, Asia’s longest-running fresh produce business conference, where expert speakers share high-level insights on the key topics and trends in the trade.

Hong Kong has relaxed its Covid entry rules and is ready to welcome the world’s travellers, with no requirement for international travellers to undergo hotel quarantine. The two events are combining their strengths for a single major international event scheduled to take place in Bordeaux from 7 to 10 October 2025. This joint initiative will include technical visits, an exhibition area, live field demonstrations, workshops, and guided tours—all organised by Macfrut, Befve&Co. and Interco Nouvelle-Aquitaine. »

Spotlight on the fresh produce industry at Macfrut

Today at the Rimini Expo Centre, Minister Francesco Lollobrigida has opened the 42nd edition of the international fruit and vegetable trade fair. From today to 8 May, the trade fair will be packed: 1,400 exhibitors (40% from abroad), 1,500 buyers, themed exhibitions, around 100 events. One of the new features is a large arena dedicated to healthy food, The Healthy Food Show, with 11 Italian celebrity testimonials in conversation with chefs and scientific experts. »
