The food and Horeca sectors to meet together in Bulgaria from 7 to 10 November

9 October 2018

The international exhibitions MEATMANIA, THE WORLD OF MILK, BULPEK, SALON DU VIN, INTERFOOD & DRINK and SIHRE will be hosted by Inter Expo Center-Sofia

A professional platform for creating new contacts, exchanging ideas and developing business in Southeastern Europe. This is how the representatives of the food and chocolate sectors define the Bulgarian exhibitions MEATMANIA, THE WORLD OF MILK, BULPEK, SALON DU VIN, INTERFOOD & DRINK and SIHRE, which are to be held at Inter Expo Center from November 7 to 10.

"We are working throughout the year on these large-scale projects," the organizers commented. And the efforts invested lead to certain results. Because the exhibition and congress capacity of Inter Expo Center is occupied for a period encompassing all six exhibitions. Products, ideas, technologies and new opportunities will be offered by more than 500 exhibitors; 162 of them will participate for the first time. Companies from Bulgaria, Italy, Austria, UK, US, Greece, Romania, Macedonia, Thailand, the Netherlands and South Africa will present their own booths.

This year, for the first time, the Department of Agriculture at the US Embassy in Sofia will have a collective participation. The already traditional collective participation of Italian companies will be larger and more comprehensive than ever before. "All these facts clearly indicate that the exhibitions are becoming increasingly international," commented participants from 2017. This is proved by the participation of producers and importers of South African wines, organized by the South African Embassy in Bulgaria.

For yet another consecutive year there will be collective participations of Bulgarian dairies, bakers, dairies, wine producers, fruit and vegetable processors and organic producers. For the registered success and the positive trends, the organizers underline the role of the branch organizations in Bulgaria, which are fully involved in the six exhibitions. 2018 will be even more special for two of the exhibitions - Meatmania and Bulpek, because they will celebrate their 25th anniversary.

Cooking is magic, while coffee is art

Fascinating, attractive, top-level and focused on professionals and businesses. This will be the accompanying program during the four exhibition days. There will be held the third edition of the GastronomiX culinary event, powered by The Alimentaria Experience. The event will include chefs from two famous Spanish restaurants. These are Mateu Casanas, Oriol Castro and Eduard Xatruch, who are exercising their culinary talent at the Disfrutar restaurant, a two stars Michelin place in Barcelona and Mario Sandoval, head of the Coque restaurant located in the Spanish capital and also entitled to two Michelin stars.

The halls of Inter Expo Center will be another proof that the creation of coffee is not just a process, but a philosophy, mastery and art for where serious knowledge is really a must. For the third consecutive year, the organizers of the Bulgarian Barista Championship will go in search of the best baristas. The professionals will compete in creating the best espresso and cappuccino. Under the aegis of the World Coffee Organization, the Latte Art Coffee Championship will take place.

The best packages will be evaluated and awarded at the National Prize Pack Competition. Within the framework of the event there will be held the competition Gold Medal with Diploma Contest for quality and original market products and / or additives".
