MEAT ATTRACTION 2017, a space for discussion and analysis of the meat sector

MEAT ATTRACTION, the Trade Show for the Meat Sector, has scheduled a full agenda of professional meetings in parallel to its commercial expo, making the Fair a privileged space for discussion and analysis for the meat industry. The event, organised by IFEMA and the Spanish National Association of Meat Industries (ANICE), is celebrating its first edition from 18 to 20 October 2017, at Feria de Madrid.

An A-list of speakers, together with some of the leading firms in this segment and the most important associations, will analyse the most important issues of interest to the meat industry at the MEAT ATTRACTION FORUM, a space in Feria de Madrid’s Hall 3 where the event will take place.

The programme starts on Wednesday, 18 October (11:30am – 12 noon), with a meeting organised by Domca, tiled “The Meat Industry: Challenges and Solutions (Natural Products for the control of Listeria, preservation solutions and facilities cleaning)”. From 12:30pm to 3:30pm, Interovic will present the Really Healthy Lamb Campaign and the National Origin Campaign. In the evening, from 4pm to 5pm, Bonsai Advanced Technologies will focus on NIR Spectroscopy, 4.0 solutions in the Meat Industry (the use of VIS-NIR technology for Quality Control in the Food Industry).

On 19 October, from 10:30am to 11:30am, CSB-SYSTEM will look at Industry 4.0 in the Meat Industry (CSB FACTORY ERP, CSB Visión, Automation, CSB-Eyedentifier). From 12 noon to 1pm, Active will focus on Quality in the Food Industry (Systems and Technology as a Competitive Advantage in the Meat Industry). From 1:30pm to 3:30pm, Torre de Núñez de Conturiz will present the gastronomic offer (Michelin Star Chef Rafael Centeno, from the restaurant Maruja Limón, will prepare different dishes with the company’s products). And at 4pm, Neodata will hold a meeting on the Digitisation of the Meat Industry.

The programme of professional seminars at the MEAT ATTRACTION FORUM concludes on Friday, 20 October (12:30pm to 1:30pm), with a conference by Active on Systems and Technology as a Competitive Advantage in the Meat Industry.

The first edition of MEAT ATTRACTION, held from 18 to 20 October, coincides in adjacent halls at Feria de Madrid with FRUIT ATTRACTION, the world’s second Trade Show for the fruit and vegetable sector; VENDIBÉRICA, the International Vending Trade Fair, and The EAT2GO Show.
