The first priority deadline for participation requests is 23 March.

Fruit Attraction 2018 will celebrate its 10th anniversary in style. More than 1,600 exhibiting companies and 70,000 professionals from 120 countries will gather in Madrid, Spain, from Tuesday 23 to Thursday 25 October, at a key time for planning fruit and vegetable sales campaigns. Halls 3, 5, 6, 7, 8, 9 and 10 at IFEMA will host this special anniversary edition, which, under the slogan Where Fresh Produce & Innovation meet, will include an endless number of innovations with the aim of continuing to offer international markets the most complete and effective marketing tool for the fruit and vegetable sector. Southern Europe is cementing its marketing function and position as a connection point between Latin America and the rest of the world. Technology and innovation as drivers of productivity and industry competitiveness will have a leading role in this tenth anniversary edition.

Fruit Attraction 2018 is now being held from Tuesday to Thursday instead of Wednesday to Friday as in the past, with the objective of expanding and enhancing the event's commercially useful time. This major event for the fruit and vegetable community will now take place from Tuesday 23 to Thursday 25 October from 9:30 to 19:00.

Canada and Saudi Arabia will be the guest importing markets at this year's event, due to their excellent performance in the importing of fruit and vegetables from the EU over recent years. This action will encourage trade relations between these two markets and the European Union, accompanied by a full programme of round tables (World Fresh Forum), guided tours and B2B sessions. Alongside this initiative, which began at the last edition, Fruit Attraction will again make a significant investment in the International Guest Programme, which will attract 1,000 retail purchasing managers, importers and wholesalers from around the world. In the same vein, another initiative will be the implementation of a global campaign to attract professional visitors as part of the Fresh Produce Digital Network Campaign.

To better serve the individual interests of each international professional visitor, the offerings at Fruit Attraction will be even more specialised and personalised.
As well as being an essential tool to position products in international fresh produce market, the International Trade Show for the Fruit and Vegetable Industry is also the go-to place for innovation. In this regard, the programme of workshops and industry knowledge will be reinforced in 2018, revaluing innovation and technology as an agent of change and progress for the sector, focusing on areas like Smart Agro, Organic Hub, Programa Acelera, Nuts Attraction and Pasarela Innova. This year, the flower and plant industry will be joining the family with Flower&Garden Attraction.
With the aim of promoting the generation of distribution sales leads around the world, the organisers will offer a wider range of services for all those participating: Meet&Scan, B2B, Professional Meeting Point, FruitAttractionNews, etc.
At www.fruitattraction.com you will find all the information you need to participate as an exhibitor and take advantage of all the benefits that this great, all-encompassing platform offers you. The “First priority deadline” is 23 March. Don't forget to submit your online Participation Request form before this date.
