31 December 2018

IFEMA and FEPEX - the Spanish Federation of Fruit, Vegetables, Flowers and Live Plants - have renewed their collaboration agreement to continue jointly organising  Fruit Attraction , the International Trade Show for the Fruit and Vegetable Industry. It happened in a meeting that included the participation of the general director of IFEMA, Eduardo López-Puertas, the general director of FEPEX, José María Pozancos, and the director of Fruit Attraction, Raúl Calleja.

FEPEX and IFEMA are thus renewing their commitment to organising Fruit Attraction, a trade fair that has been held annually since 2009 and has become, in just ten years, one of the biggest world events and business forums in the fruit and vegetable industry. In its last edition, 81,235 professionals from 122 countries participated, up by 19% over the previous year. Likewise, on its 10th Anniversary it held the biggest and most comprehensive out of all of its editions, with the participation of 1,621 companies from 40 countries and with 51,400 square metres of floor space occupied - 15% more than the previous edition. The Fair has become established as a fundamental instrument for the internationalisation of the industry, a meeting point for all the professionals that make up the entire supply chain, and a framework for innovation in the fruit and vegetable market.
The next edition of Fruit Attraction will be held from 22 to 24 October 2019.
