The FRUIT ATTRACTION LIVEConnect platform will be operational from 1-31 October

This year, due to the constraints of the current health situation, and in response to these extraordinary circumstances, Fruit Attraction will be held from 1 to 30 October and will bring the global fruit and vegetable community together using remote meeting technologies. It will do this using the Fruit Attraction LIVEConnect platform for the first time. This is the world's largest, unique professional social network for the sector, and it will generate thousands of new buying and selling opportunities among traders from all around the world.  

With the message Connecting The World´s Fresh Produce Community, as well as helping to promote digitisation in the sector, this one-of-a-kind online edition of Fruit Attraction strengthens its mission to be a strategic instrument for an industry that is crucial to the entire world.  

On launch day, Fruit Attraction LIVEConnect is activating its community with 500 exhibiting companies from 24 countries, and more than 10,000 products from the entire fruit and vegetable sector’s value chain. Since this is a live, dynamic platform, these figures are set to grow exponentially in the coming weeks.  


Fruit Attraction LIVEConnect will amalgamate all sectors connected to Fruit Attraction, namely Fresh Produce, Auxiliary Industry, Flower & Garden and Fresh Food Logistics. At the moment, when it comes to the event's national area of influence, the community consists of companies from almost every fruit and vegetable producing region in the land, including Andalusia, Aragon, Castilla la Mancha, Castile and Leon, Catalonia, Valencian Community, Extremadura, La Rioja, Madrid, Murcia, Navarre, and the Basque Country, among others. The international exhibitors taking part hail from Albania, Germany, Argentina, Belgium, Bolivia, Ecuador, Egypt, Spain, the United States, Finland, France, Greece, India, Italy, Kenya, Morocco, Mexico, Republic of Moldova, Netherlands, Portugal, the United Kingdom, South Africa, Switzerland, and Turkey.

 Fruit Attraction LIVEConnect uses innovative technology based on artificial intelligence and is fully equipped with all the features required for it to be a meeting point, a networking space, and a source of contacts and opportunities for generating business, making an impression and raising visibility. It will also host sessions and debates for the entire international fruit and vegetable community throughout the month of October. 

A month of Congresses, Seminars and Meetings
Fruit Attraction LIVEConnect 2020 will also host numerous technical seminars, debates, meetings and daily monographic conferences dealing with product categories, international market opportunities and topics of great interest to the sector organised by associations, the media and participating exhibitors.

Another part of the programme, the World Fresh Forum, is organised by ICEX Spain Export and Investments, and is a business and institutional networking initiative that enables participants to make the most of the business opportunities and commercial challenges that exist in the guest countries for this edition: China, Japan, the United States, India and the United Arab Emirates. 

Also scheduled within the programme is the Biofruit Congress, where attendees will discuss the future of organic markets, and the Women's Forum, an event to promote female leadership and balance within the agri-food sector in general and the fruit and vegetable sector in particular. There will also be other conferences such as the European apple market: deciphering the post-COVID-19 scenario, Technological challenges in the service of the containers and packaging of the future for fruit and vegetables, Data analysis and business agri-intelligence, Cut flower and ornamental plants, the impact of COVID-19 and the current scene, Supermarket Producers - the Present, and future in the face of the coronavirus. Personalised nutrition, branding, Proximity and Hypermarkets in times of COVID-19, e-commerce in fruit and vegetables. Digital transformation and Trends in the transformation process. It will also host numerous daily sessions organised by the exhibitors themselves.

 Fruit Attraction LIVEConnect will get you up to speed with all the market news for 2020. You can also watch the finals of both categories of the Innovation Hub Award - Fresh Produce and the Auxiliary Industry - which reward innovation and entrepreneurship. 

 During weekends in October, the platform will host Factoría Chef, showcasing gastronomic opportunities with interesting demonstrations and cooking shows.  

Fruit Attraction LIVEConnect will be operational from 1-31 October 2020 through the mobile app, and with all web functionalities, to generate thousands of new business opportunities.
