International Blueberry Days - Macfrut 2023

The International Blueberry Days, scheduled in Rimini from 3 to 5 May 2023, will make Macfrut the global capital of blueberries, thanks to a rich programme of conferences which will host key players of research and of the whole production and commercial chain.

The programme opens on Wednesday 3 May with a technical-scientific day coordinated by Prof. Bruno Mezzetti of the Università Politecnica delle Marche: the symposium will host speeches of The James Hutton Institute, Costa Group, Driscoll's and other researchers from China, Turkey, Portugal and Chile. A section of the symposium will delve into quality aspects with a talk about quality enhancement and sensory evaluation of blueberries. 

The following day, the programme will give space to the global companies involved in blueberry production and marketing from the main production areas. Throughout the day, the Global Players programme will bring to the stage the visions on the future and the long-term development strategies of numerous global players the main global growing areas including Chile, Poland, United Kingdom, Spain, Portugal, including representatives of Frusan, Hortifrut, Winterwood, SanLucar and Costa de Huelva.
