APAE announces its ninth journalism awards

Fruit Attraction is once again sponsoring these awards, and the ceremony will be held during the trade fair, which takes place between 22 and 24 OctoberThe Spanish Agri-Food Journalists Association (APAE) has convened its ninth journalism awards. For the fifth time, articles can be presented in two categories: a general category , endowed with a first prize of 1,000 euros for the best text on agriculture, livestock and/or food, and a special category, consisting of a prize of 1,000 euros for the best article, with the specific theme of fruit or vegetables.

In the last edition of the awards, the report Manchego... or manchego by David Centellas Navas, broadcast on the "En Profundidad" programme by Castilla-La Mancha Media (CMM), and the article The Flavour of Tangerines was Born on a Single Tree , published in Materia (the Science section of El País) and written by Manuel Ansede Vázquez, were won the award for the general category and the "Fruits and Vegetables" category, respectively.

All journalists working professionally in the Spanish media will be eligible for these awards. One journalistic piece, column, article, chronicle, interview, report, etc. can be submitted per person. It must be in Spanish and have been published in any Spanish media outlet between 11 September 2018 and 11 September 2019. Original pieces, copies of the publication, articles on the internet -including the corresponding hyperlink-, must be sent in before 14 September 2019.

The APAE journalism awards are sponsored by the Fruit Attraction trade fair, which, this year, is celebrating its tenth anniversary edition between 22 and 24 October at IFEMA, with the collaboration of FEPEX. The awards ceremony will take place during a conference organised by the APAE during the fair.

Fruit Attraction, one of the world's leading international trade fairs for the fruit and vegetable sector, has closed its first edition in Brazil, at the São Paulo Expo.
