Green Week 2023: Federal Ministry of the Environment with information on natural climate protection

From the sea to the forests, from moors to nature in cities – from 20 to 29 January 2023 at the International Green Week, the Environment Ministry will be highlighting the importance of intact eco-systems and the things we can all do to protect the climate.

Ucima takes part in trade mission to Senegal

A series of institutional and business meetings were organised in collaboration with the Ministry of Foreign Affairs with the aim of forging new business relationships in a fast-growing, investment-attractive country. Senegal is currently enjoying a period of strong economic expansion, recording real GDP growth rates of around 6% between 2015 and 2021. Despite the slowdown caused by the pandemic, the International Monetary Fund is forecasting real growth rates of 4.7% in 2022 and 8.1% in 2023.

TSW 2023 – Fruit and Vegetable Industry Fair January 18-19, 2023 – LOCATION CHANGE

For reasons beyond the control of the organizer, the 13th edition of TSW 2023 change sits location. The Fair will take place on January 18-19, 2023 at Targi Kielce. Freshfel Europe calls for sustainable and functional harmonized EU packaging rules

Following the release of the European Commission’s proposal for a Regulation on packaging and packaging waste, Freshfel Europe is calling on decision-makers to enact sustainable and functional harmonized EU packaging rules for fresh fruit and vegetables. The current proposal targets the fresh produce sector with disproportionate and discriminatory measures in comparison to other food sectors, banning all single use packaging for fresh fruit and vegetables.
