The 19th International Food&Drink Exhibition in Ukraine

Last year the event was visited by 6,510 industry professionals from 13 different countries (Belarus, Belgium, Georgia, India, Italy, Kuwait, Latvia, the Netherlands, Poland, Republic of Moldova, Sri Lanka, Taiwan and Ukraine) that covered 1,730 sqm of exhibition centre.

Why Ukraine?
• Today, Ukrainian agriculture, which has shown overall growth during the past 15 years, is an industry worth US$ 13.5 billion.
• In January-March 2016 were opened 77 new network - food stores, which is 64% more compared to the same period last year. The main reason is the growth in sales by 10-15% in the first quarter of this year compared with the same period last year.
• Sweden will allocate 2.5 million euros for the development of Kherson, Mykolaiv and Odessa region. Saudi Arabia and Japan have also planned to invest in projects in support of small farmers, organic food production and supply of agricultural machinery.
The Ukrainian Prime Minister increases the annual budget for agricultural sphere on US$ 24 million.

A test field of around 3,000 m² at Macfrut 2024

At Macfrut, the sector’s innovations will be on display in an area of around 3,000 square metres, divided into two halls: one dedicated to fruit growing (Hall C1 - Agri Field Solution) and the other to soilless production techniques, commercial and industrial horticulture, and mechanisation (Hall A1 – Machinery Solutions). ‘Both of these areas allow visitors to see for themselves what they can put into practice on their own farm,’ says Luciano Trentini, an experienced agronomist. »

Fruit Attraction, one of the world's leading international trade fairs for the fruit and vegetable sector, has closed its first edition in Brazil, at the São Paulo Expo. The three-day event brought together the entire production chain of the sector, with the presence of 45 countries and 8 Brazilian states (São Paulo, Bahia, Pernambuco, Rio Grande do Norte, Maranhão, Pará, Espírito Santo and Paraná) and 12,000 visitors. »
