Fresh Business Expo 2017 aiming for further growth

12 June 2017

The organisers of Fresh Business Expo Ukraine, which will take place from 5-7 December 2017 in Kiev, Ukraine, are aiming for further growth.

Fresh Business Expo is the only trade event in Ukraine that exclusively targets the complete chain of Fresh Produce.

Based on the positive results of the 2016 edition combined with the market situation, which is getting more and more favorable, the organisers see that the interest in the Ukrainian market is increasing.

The Ukrainian economy is forecasted to grow by some 2,5% this year and a further growth is expected for 2018.

The Free Trade Agreement between the EU and Ukraine is giving a further boost to the economy.
With the Free Trade Agreement now in place Ukraine is able to expand its exports to the entire European Union opening up a huge new market and possibilities.

Given these positive signals Ukraine is recognized as focus agro country for the entire EECA region (Eastern Europe and Central Asia).

Kuno Jacobs, the international organiser states: “Our floor plan is already filled for more than 60-70% and most of our exhibitors from the 2016 edition have already indicated that they want to participate again in 2017 as they have had good results. This, in combination with the growing interest in Ukraine, makes it possible for us to further develop and grow the exhibition.”

One of the key success factors of the exhibition is the conference “Fruits & Vegetables of Ukraine”, which is organized by Fruit Inform within the framework of the exhibition.

The conference and exhibition attracted leading growers, traders, key supermarket buyers, importers, exporters, processors as well as input and equipment suppliers.
