It will take place on 24 October at Fruit Attraction

16 October 2018

The tenth edition of  Fruit Attraction , which will be held from Tuesday 23 to Thursday 25 October in Madrid, will host the 5th International Congress of seedless table grapes, GRAPE ATTRACTION, where professionals from the sector in Spain, Europe, Chile and South Africa, will present their vision on the current situation of this type of grape and its prospects for the future.

The 5th edition of Grape Attraction, which will take place on Wednesday, 24 October at   IFEMA’s Fruit Forum 10 , will consist of three presentations and a round table at which aspects related to the production of Apyrena grapes will be analysed. Demand is growing for these grapes given their quality and ease of consumption. The technical and commercial challenges of production in Spain and Europe will also be addressed, as well as the vision of producers and traders from other important producing countries, such as South Africa and Chile.

Spain produces 120,000 tons of seedless table grapes, approximately 90% from the Region of Murcia, the export of which has been concentrated mostly in EU countries.

Grape Attraction , which is a biannual event and has been held since 2010, is being organised by  APOEXPA , the Association of Producers-Exporters of Fruits, Table Grapes and Other Agricultural Products of Murcia, which represents the majority of the producers and marketers of seedless table grapes from Spain, with the collaboration of  FEPEX   and  IFEMA .
Grape Attraction will take place on Wednesday, October 24, from 9:30 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. at FRUIT FORUM 10, located at IFEMA in Hall 10. The tenth edition of Fruit Attraction, organised by FEPEX and IFEMA, will take place at Feria de Madrid in Halls 1, 3, 5, 6, 7, 8, 9 and 10 from 9:30 in the morning to 7:00 p.m.
