Strong interest amongst Polish companies to participate at Fresh Business Expo 2017

14 September 2017

The organisers of Fresh Business Expo Ukraine, which will take place from 5-7 December 2017 in Kiev, Ukraine, are very pleased to notice the strong interest amongst Polish companies to participate in the event.

Fresh Business Expo is the only trade event in Ukraine that exclusively targets the complete chain of Fresh Produce.

Based on the positive results of the 2016 edition combined with the market situation, which is getting more and more favorable, the organisers see that the interest in the Ukrainian market is increasing, especially amongst Polish companies.
The Ukrainian economy is forecasted to grow by some 2,5% this year and a further growth is expected for 2018.

Given the fact that Poland and Ukraine are neighboring countries and already have a strong and long-lasting relation when it comes to trade plus the fact that the Free Trade Agreement (FTA) between the EU and Ukraine has been put into effect, as of this month, makes Ukraine a very interesting and emerging market for Polish companies.

Because of this Free Trade Agreement (FTA), Ukraine is able to expand its exports to the entire European Union opening up a huge new market and great possibilities. This results in a strong growth in the production of Fruits & Vegetables, which is offering great potential to (Polish) suppliers of greenhouse technology & equipment, processing machines and post harvest handling machinery and storage.

The following Polish companies have already booked a stand and/or placed an option: Green Sort, Grupa Imago, Korfanty Nursery, Mega Sp. Z.o.o., Poland Fruits, Polskie Borowki, Sorter Sp. J., UNI-MASZ H.M.Juszczuk Sp.j., Unidex Freezing Tunnels, Unimasz Sp. z o.o. and WDK Tunnels.

One of the key success factors of the exhibition is the conference “Fruits & Vegetables of Ukraine”, which is organized by Fruit Inform within the framework of the exhibition.

The conference and exhibition attracted leading growers, traders, key supermarket buyers, importers, exporters, processors as well as input and equipment suppliers.
