Arrigoni, agrotextiles for water saving and the reduction of phytochemicals at Fruit Logistica 2022

ASIA FRUIT LOGISTICA heads to Bangkok in 2022

This year’s relocation to Bangkok is not permanent: Thailand is the best place in Asia this year to host an in-person ASIA FRUIT LOGISTICA because of the strict Covid-entry travel restrictions that remain in force in Hong Kong and China.
“Asia’s fresh fruit and vegetable trade is desperate to meet in person again, and hosting ASIA FRUIT LOGISTICA in Bangkok this year means we can put on a physical trade show,” said David Axiotis, executive director of ASIA FRUIT LOGISTICA.

To be ready and responsive to any production project, Laboratorios Roemmers have planned, on the one side, the adoption of two twin machines capable of reaching the speed of 100,000 capsules/hour and, on the other side, the creation of a real warehouse for size parts and dosing units at the factory in Buenos Aires. Dosing units and size pars are totally interchangeable between the two machines to reach the maximum flexibility.

Interpoma rewards technological innovations in water-saving: there are two prizes at stake, both worth 5,000 euros, to be awarded on 16 November 2022 at Fiera Bolzano Exhibition Center. “Sustainability in agriculture is a challenge that concerns everyone,” says Thomas Mur, Director of Fiera Bolzano Exhibition Center. “We also want to do our part. SanLucar launches new premium banana concept

In traditional ripening systems, the fruit is often ripened according to a predefined scheme, standardized parameters, and a lot of manual work. However, in modern ripening systems it is possible to monitor the process exactly and therefore provide stress-free and careful ripening. The applied technology makes use of intelligent software control which enables dynamic calculation and adjustment of the optimal fruit ripening settings. The system controls permanently all natural air and respiration gases such as oxygen, nitrogen, carbon dioxide and the fruit gas ethylene.
