Calling all Malaysian companies in the hospitality and F&B sectors who are looking to expand their businesses in Asia’s emerging markets!
As of 1 January 2018, the Malaysian External Trade Development Corporation (MATRADE) has brought back the Market Development Grant scheme. This is a financial support facility in the form of a reimbursable grant to assist Malaysian Small and Medium Enterprises (SMEs), Professional Service Providers, Trade & Industry Associations, Chambers of Commerce and Professional Bodies in undertaking eligible export promotional activities.
For business companies participating in overseas international trade fairs and exhibitions, the MDG amount will be RM15, 000 per show, with a maximum of RM200, 000. The grant will be used to cover the following expenses:
• Participation Fees/ Booth Rental
• Booth Construction
• Air Fare
• Land Transportation (Malaysia to ASEAN Countries)
• Accommodation
