9 September 2017
From 8 to 11 November, Bulgaria's capital Sofia will host the exhibitions MEATMANIA, WORLD OF MILK, BULPEK, SALON DU VIN, INTERFOOD & DRINK and SIHRE. They have proved to be the most successful business platform for entry in the Bulgarian market.

The organisers expect to see over 450 Bulgarian and foreign participants. This year's exhibitions will welcome 123 new exhibitors. For four days Inter Expo Center will become an attractive hub for successful business, thanks to the numerous Bulgarian and foreign companies. 78 of these are foreign participants from Argentina, Belgium, the UK, Greece, India, Spain, Italy, Poland, Portugal, the Republic of Korea, Thailand, France, the Netherlands and South Africa. The Embassies of Argentina, the UK, South Africa and Poland will also participate in the exhibitions. In turn, Italy and India will present their respective collective stands to all visitors. For another year, Bulgarian producers will be presented in collective participation of meat processors, bakers, milk processors, wine producers, fruit and vegetable processors and organic producers.

During MEATMANIA, WORLD OF MILK, BULPEK, SALON DU VIN, INTERFOOD & DRINK and SIHRE, we witness an increased attendance of participants with machines and technologies, the presentation of leading brands of coffee, vending equipment and accessories. BIO ZONE and DIET & FITNESS ZONE, which specialise in certified organic and healthy food products, will satisfy every taste. Over 22,000 professionals are expected to become part of the most successful business forum in the food industry in Bulgaria.

Accompanying programme

Rich, fascinating, useful and professional - this is how we can describe the programme during the four exhibition days at Inter Expo Center. We kick off with the national qualification for the most prestigious Bocuse d'Or chef competition. The Bulgarian association of chefs will organise the GastronomiX culinary event. This year will be marked by the first International Pizza Championship - the event promises to be fascinating for every visitor. In addition to the professional competitions of the exhibitions, there will also be a forum on Bulgarian organic products under the Bulgarian Presidency of the EU Council, organised by the Bulgarian Organic Products Association. The conference Kosher & Halal Certifications: a passport to export, organised by the Greek International Business Association, will be extremely useful for all professionals involved in the production and marketing of kosher and halal products. The youngest visitors will be invited to tasting for children under the motto 'Healthy and strong since childhood', organised by the Union of Fruit and Vegetable Processors. The Barista championship will be held for coffee lovers, and specialists of the Baristo University and Rancilio will showcase their skills. Such a major event cannot do without handing awards to its participants. This will happen at Prize Pack - the National Contest for Best Packaging and the Gold Medal with Diploma Contest for quality and original market products and/or additives.
