San Miguel celebrates its 60 years at Anuga

San Miguel, a multinational company and a leader in citrus production, is at Anuga 2015, the most important event in the international foods & beverages agenda, which takes place on October 10-14 in Cologne, Germany.

With the “Taste the future” leit motive, Anuga gathers most important companies from the industry. Along with the top leaders, San Miguel actively takes part in defining trends for the market.
On Sunday night, San Miguel has celebrate its 60 years of experience, while hosting an exclusive event for 100 guests, including the key players of the sector. In the 28th floor of KölnSky building, with an amazing city viewing, Romain Corneille (San Miguel’s CEO) shared with the audience the company’s plans for the next years.
Two traditional clients were invited to expose about their relationship with San Miguel: Nina Guezenec, CPO from Suntory Beverage & Food Europe, and Paul van Wegenen, Purchising Director from CP Kelco.
At the end, Maximiliano D’Alessandro (Processed Foods Director), exposed about the value of long term relationship and present the New Business Development area, which projects the company as an active solutions provider in the Processed Food market. As a department exclusively dedicated to thinking about the future, this new area is focused on proactively responding to the needs of the market, quickly adapting to the new trends.
San Miguel is working on the development of products with higher added value and functional food. The company's strategy is based on leading the industry, constantly generating innovative proposals.
In this way, San Miguel consolidates as a global company with expertise in the citrus market, standing out for its innovation and operating capacity with a strong commitment to sustainability.
