Leading businesses will be representing the entire supply chain, in addition to the excellent companies that were already present in the last edition, occupying altogether 95% of the spaces sold so far.

For packaging, the usually large number of participants will also include Ifco, Euro Pool System, JcoPlastic, Plastic Company, Schoeller-Allibert, CiessePapier and Cicrespi.
As for technologies, which have always been Macfrut's strength, the great presence of major European producers will be enriched by the arrival of Siropac, Sgorbati and Retarder.
The pre-harvest segment is also growing, in fact it will occupy 2 out of 7 pavilions at Rimini Fiera. Other new participants will be Esasem, Green Has Italy, Sipcam, Top Seeds and Vilmorin. For the irrigation segment, instead, Rivulis, Irritec and Irrigazione Veneta.
Finally, there will be new participants from abroad including the largest group, Rewe (Germany), which, on Thursday 15 September afternoon will host a convention at the exhibition centre for its suppliers in the Mediterranean, featuring Greefa (the Netherlands), Namdhari’s fresh (India), Agro Selections Fruits (France), and PSB (Spain). Many new companies are also expected from Albania, Argentina, Colombia, Kenya, Peru and France, in addition to the numerous foreign exhibitors that already attended last year.

“We are moving at full speed towards the 33rd edition of Macfrut, which will be a record one," explains Renzo Piraccini, President of Macfrut. "We are highly pleased with the wide response of the companies that have chosen to join our trade fair, coming from all segments of the supply chain: production, fresh-cut, technologies, packaging, services and pre-harvest. We are expecting an outstanding presence of foreign exhibitors, which is set to rise to 22% of the total."
