FPFC launches new programme at CHINA FRUIT LOGISTICA

CHINA FRUIT LOGISTICA, the leading national trade show for China’s fresh produce business, launches on 14-16 May in Shanghai, and FRESH PRODUCE FORUM CHINA is back with a brand-new format to give trade show visitors the best combination of information and insights on the show-floor.

FRESH PRODUCE FORUM CHINA (FPFC) returns with a new three-track programme format over three days, bringing CHINA FRUIT LOGISTICA visitors a powerful mix of high-level discussions on the hot topics, expert talks on the ‘how-to’ of the business, and live interviews on the latest innovations and industry trends.

At the FPFC Keynote Stage, trade show visitors can take part in the core conference programme featuring a mix of keynote presentations, strategic insights and panel discussions on the hot topics in China’s fresh produce business.

From Shenzhen port towards the Far East markets

The first container of Sweeki branded kiwis arrived from Chile in the port of Shenzhen, South-West China. The container, directed to the Chinese clients, is the first of the shipment plan of Origine Group for the Asian markets, that will continue for several weeks. “Sweeki kiwis – says Origine Group general manager, Alessandro Zampagna - will reach the markets of different Asian countries, where they will be sold until October, both loose and in clamshells, in small shops and supermarkets”. »

Tropical Fruit Congress, an overview on global and European mango and avocado production

Macfrut (Rimini, 9-11 may 2018) hosted the first edition of the Tropical Fruit Congress, the first and only European summit on mangoes and avocados. The fully booked Congress, which was divided into two sessions, featured about 20 speakers from all over the world to discuss the production, import/export and consumption of these two fruits. After the first day, which focused on marketing and quality, the second session turned the spotlight on production. »
