Bart Sosef appointed General Manager Biobest Nederland BV

Bart Sosef, until recently General Manager of Arend-Sosef (Honselerdijk), has been appointed General Manager of Biobest’s recently created subsidiary in the Netherlands with immediate effect. His role will be to lead a team of ten, to fine-tune and implement the commercial strategy and to develop the organization.

Biobest CEO Jean-Marc Vandoorne: “We’ve created Biobest Nederland BV as an immediate response to the bankruptcy of Arend-Sosef. With Bart Sosef at the helm, Biobest Nederland is now really ready for take-off. Our team of 7 bio-advisors, collectively, has more than 100 years of experience in integrated pest management. Bart is a seasoned commercial manager with a strong commitment to our business, a broad network and in-depth knowledge of the Dutch horticultural sector.

Bart Sosef comments: “I am really pleased to be able to take up this new challenge with a focus on biocontrol. The biological control and pollination business do not have a cyclical character. In the early days of his career, Bart Sosef took his first steps in the Nic Sosef family business as a biocontrol technical advisor.
