Key business platform of Russia’s food processing industry

Agroprodmash is the most effective and easiest way for hi-tech processing equipment to enter the Russian market. This year the trade show celebrates its 20th anniversary. The Russian food processing industry still requires updating, and the Russian market still remains receptive and promising for manufacturers of food processing equipment.
The trade show is organized by Expocentre and supported by the Russian Ministry of Industry and Trade of the Ministry of Agriculture. It runs under the auspices of the Russian Chamber of Commerce and Industry. The show carries approved event logos of the Global Association of the Exhibition Industry (UFI) and the Russian Union of Exhibitions and Fairs (RUEF).
According to the Russian National Exhibition Rating, approved by the Russian Chamber of Commerce and Industry and the Russian Union of Exhibitions and Fairs, the Agroprodmash trade show was recognized the best Russian exhibition in all nominations in the category Food Industry: Equipment and Ingredients. In 2014 Agroprodmash brought together 762 companies from 36 countries of Europe, Asia and America. Visitors to the trade show were professionals from over 1,000 cities and towns from all federal districts of Russia and 60 countries.
According to the participant survey, 77% of exhibitors were satisfied with the quality of business contacts and results from exhibiting and 79% of exhibitors confirmed their participation in Agroprodmash next year.
By the way, among the visitors’ top goals there were to find new partners and purchasers for procurements, make contracts, monitor the market and maintain relationship with long-standing partners. According to 2014 results, 91% of visitors were satisfied with the trade show, and 67% said they were Agroprodmash loyal visitors attend only Agroprodmash.

The European Regulation on Packaging and Packaging Waste (PPWR), adopted by the European Parliament on April 24th, significantly impacts the fresh fruit and vegetable supply chain, particularly where it bans the use of plastic packaging. European fresh fruit and vegetables are already sold loose 50% of the time, and the plastic packaging used in this sector represents only 1.5% of all food packaging. »
Fi Europe gears up for its best edition yet

Fi Europe is gearing up for its biggest and best year ever. From 19-21 November 2024, Messe Frankfurt will host the leading global event for food and beverage ingredients. More than 1,500 exhibitors and a programme of expert presentations will showcase innovation, share insights and foster business relationships.
