International Cherry Congress

The goal of accelerating the export penetration of Greek cherries into foreign markets will be the focus of the 1st FRESKON exhibition, to be organised by TIF HELEXPO inThessaloniki from 23 to 25 April 2015.
During the event, the International Cherry Congress will also be held, mapping the cherry market at the international level, the new technologies that concern the cultivation of cherries, projections for the new season in the main cherry-producing countries, the commercial dynamism of the product and methods-proposals aiming at its better marketing.

The conference will feature speakers from all the cherry-producing of the Miditerranean, bestowing international appeal on the event.

Participants in the FRESKON exhibition will come into contact with representatives of major foreign supermarket chains, commercial enterprises and distributions companies-networks. At the same time, the exhibition will also host foreign exhibitors who are active in the sector and represent the latest developments concerning fresh fruit, vegetables, logistics, machinery and packing materials.
