On October 30 and 31-2014, the Summit for companies and professionals interested in the hygienic engineering of equipment and facilities for the safe production and processing of food will be held in Parma (Italy) in conjunction with  Cibus Tec - Food Pack the exhibition of technologies and solutions for the food and beverage industry.

Four sessions have been defined to highlight various key points for industry sectors as well as for equipment and machinery manufacturers:
SESSION I: Hygienic design of equipment for the food, pharmaceutical and cosmetics industries
SESSION II: Hygienic design of food factories and utilities
SESSION III: New trends
SESSION IV: Materials in contact with the product

The Congress objectives are:
• to raise the awareness and analyse the relevance of hygienic
• to present the latest novelties in hygienic engineering
• to present the EHEDG activities as a European and a world-wide operating reference organization in this field
• to promote the creation of regional and international networks in order to identify knowledge gaps and problems
• to provide adequate solutions related to hygienic equipment and food and to enhance the dialogue between equipment and plant manufacturers, producers of food or related products and academia.

A test field of around 3,000 m² at Macfrut 2024

At Macfrut, the sector’s innovations will be on display in an area of around 3,000 square metres, divided into two halls: one dedicated to fruit growing (Hall C1 - Agri Field Solution) and the other to soilless production techniques, commercial and industrial horticulture, and mechanisation (Hall A1 – Machinery Solutions). ‘Both of these areas allow visitors to see for themselves what they can put into practice on their own farm,’ says Luciano Trentini, an experienced agronomist. »

Fruit Attraction, one of the world's leading international trade fairs for the fruit and vegetable sector, has closed its first edition in Brazil, at the São Paulo Expo. The three-day event brought together the entire production chain of the sector, with the presence of 45 countries and 8 Brazilian states (São Paulo, Bahia, Pernambuco, Rio Grande do Norte, Maranhão, Pará, Espírito Santo and Paraná) and 12,000 visitors. »
