MYANMAR EXECUTIVE CHEF CLUB RETURNS AS KEY ORGANISERS FOR MYANMAR PROFESSIONAL HOSPITALITY AND CULINARY COMPETITIONS THIS YEAR
 
AMB Tarsus Events Group is pleased to welcome back the Myanmar Executive Chef Club, who will be helping to organise the culinary segment of the Myanmar Professional Hospitality and Culinary Competitions, which will happen in conjunction with the MYANFOOD & MYANHOTEL 2018 Expos. These events will take place at the MEP Mindama in Yangon between 1 and 3 November 2018.

The Myanmar Professional Culinary & Hospitality Competitions will feature various categories of contests such as the Mystery Box Culinary Challenge, Ice Carving Challenge, Bed Making Competition, the Pastry Challenge and the Latte Art Competition. This event is the perfect opportunity for hospitality and F&B experts from around Myanmar to test their skills and stand a chance to win various prizes. In conjunction with the exhibitions, the competitions are expected to attract over 10,000 visitors, especially those in the hospitality and F&B sectors.

The Myanmar Executive Chef Club is a non-political, non-profit group of professionals in the culinary industry in Myanmar for the promotion and development of the country’s catering trade and culinary profession.

Besides engaging in the competitions, participants can also take the opportunity to visit the various companies and brands that will be exhibiting at the MYANFOOD and MYANHOTEL 2018 Expos. The two trade shows will serve as platforms for over 300 exhibitors from various countries to showcase their latest innovations and products related to the F&B and hospitality industries. The expos are also the perfect setting for entrepreneurs to meet and explore new business prospects and partnership opportunities.

At Macfrut, the sector’s innovations will be on display in an area of around 3,000 square metres, divided into two halls: one dedicated to fruit growing (Hall C1 - Agri Field Solution) and the other to soilless production techniques, commercial and industrial horticulture, and mechanisation (Hall A1 – Machinery Solutions). ‘Both of these areas allow visitors to see for themselves what they can put into practice on their own farm,’ says Luciano Trentini, an experienced agronomist. »

Fruit Attraction, one of the world's leading international trade fairs for the fruit and vegetable sector, has closed its first edition in Brazil, at the São Paulo Expo. The three-day event brought together the entire production chain of the sector, with the presence of 45 countries and 8 Brazilian states (São Paulo, Bahia, Pernambuco, Rio Grande do Norte, Maranhão, Pará, Espírito Santo and Paraná) and 12,000 visitors. »
