International Asparagus Days October 29-30 in Angers

SIVAL and MacFrut join forces with Christian BEFVE, the world-class asparagus specialist, to organise the third edition of the International Asparagus Days on October 29-30, 2019 at the Parc des Expositions, Angers, France. This world forum for all asparagus production professionals combines an exhibition and conferences with indoor demos. 100 exhibitors and over 2,000 international visitors are expected. Also on the programme are “outside-the-walls” tours of farms and businesses.

Reduce give-away with smart software of LRE

LRE saw at one of their own customers that the percentage of give-away per package had unnoticed gone up to as much as 5%. On a weekly basis, this amounted for the grower to a large part of the realized profit. With the deployment of smart weighing and software modules, LRE has reduced this to a give-away of almost nil.
