WOP DUBAI continues to be the most important meeting point of the industry in the Middle East

For eleventh consecutive years, the co-operation with Dubai Municipality Central Fruit & Vegetable Department was the success pillar of WOP DUBAI. Dubai Municipality's sponsorship of the annual exhibition reflects its keenness to contribute to the emirate’s reputation and its role as a thriving commercial hub, and its efforts to complement Dubai's growth and development in various sectors, especially the commercial sector.

The exhibition, over the past ten years, has been extremely successful in helping businesses explore new opportunities by connecting investors, decision-makers and other stakeholders. WOP DUBAI 2019 provides an ideal platform for businesses in the fresh produce industry to meet, network & explore prospective partnerships.

WOP DUBAI continues remarkable cooperation with Dubai Municipality represented by Dubai Central Fruit & Vegetables Market, the region’s largest market for fresh produce. Dubai Central Fruit & Vegetables Market developed an outstanding partnership with WOP DUBAI. This partnership – with the largest center for trade and distribution of fresh produce in the Middle East ensured that WOP DUBAI continues to be the most important meeting point of the industry in the Middle East.

Six local companies of Fruit & Vegetables Trader’s Group Committee were participated for the first time and eight SME local tenants were presented their services and products in a special presentation and exceptional oriented stand designs in WOP DUBAI 2019.

A test field of around 3,000 m² at Macfrut 2024

At Macfrut, the sector’s innovations will be on display in an area of around 3,000 square metres, divided into two halls: one dedicated to fruit growing (Hall C1 - Agri Field Solution) and the other to soilless production techniques, commercial and industrial horticulture, and mechanisation (Hall A1 – Machinery Solutions). ‘Both of these areas allow visitors to see for themselves what they can put into practice on their own farm,’ says Luciano Trentini, an experienced agronomist. »

Fruit Attraction, one of the world's leading international trade fairs for the fruit and vegetable sector, has closed its first edition in Brazil, at the São Paulo Expo. The three-day event brought together the entire production chain of the sector, with the presence of 45 countries and 8 Brazilian states (São Paulo, Bahia, Pernambuco, Rio Grande do Norte, Maranhão, Pará, Espírito Santo and Paraná) and 12,000 visitors. »
