15 październik 2019
M. Dias Branco, leader in pasta and cookies in Brazil, participated of Anuga, one of the largest and most important food and beverage fairs in the world, which gathered trends for the segment in 2020. The highlight was the launch of Bel Campo, vegetable cream created especially for export, which can be used to cook. The company also exhibited the portfolio of Vitarella, Richester, Isabela, Adorita Tropical and Piraquê brands. The event took place until October 9 in Cologne, Germany.
Bel Campo vegetable cream with butter flavor is indicated for export, once it does not require refrigeration, besides having the Cover Seal system for packaging closure, a characteristic that guarantees inviolability. The innovation has sensory attributes similar to the traditional version and, besides being consumed in bread or toast, it can be used for cooking due to the high lipid content.
Bel Campo means the expansion of M. Dias Branco's vegetable creams portfolio, developed especially for export. The first innovation was Adorita Tropical that has similar characteristics and it is ideal for consumption, available in several countries around South America and Africa, for example.
Vitarella, Richester, Isabela and Piraquê products were also taken to the fair. Vitarella presented Delicitá Cristal cookie, with a slightly sweet flavor and caramelized sugar crystals, in a package of 450 g, besides pastas and wafer cookies, as well as Isabela. Richester introduced the 30 g packs of Animated Zoo square stuffed biscuits. The product range for children's biscuits inspired by Brazilian fauna animals is a success with children from other countries. Piraquê, the brand that values the Brazilian ethnic culture, showed the product line of Toasts and Cracker Gergelin and Goiabinha, which amaze consumers in other countries.
M. Dias Branco products for export have specific packaging, with labeling data in more than two languages. They also have international quality certificate, food safety, occupational safety and environmental certifications, such as the FSSC 22000, covering the entire food safety management system, recognized by the Global Food Safety Initiative (GFSI). The company also have the Halal certified, qualifying to export its products to the Islamic market, which makes a number of demands on the production process of its foods.
Present in 37 countries, from all continents, M. Dias Branco participated at Anuga in a partnership with the Brazilian Export and Investment Promotion Agency (Apex-Brasil).
“Anuga represents the opportunity to strengthen relationships with customers around the world and generate new and important business for the company from traditional Brazilian brands such as Piraquê, Vitarella and Richester. We bet a lot on the foreign market and we are optimistic about the success of Bel Campo, another innovation created especially for export”, concludes César Reis, Export Director of M. Dias Branco.
