4 luty 2025

The leading trade show for the global fruit and vegetable business returns to Berlin from 5 to 7 February 2025, with over 2,600 exhibitors from more than 90 countries and all parts of the fresh produce value chain.

Berlin is ready to welcome the world’s most international gathering of fresh produce industry professionals. FRUIT LOGISTICA will officially open its doors tomorrow, welcoming trade visitors from around the world. With over 2,600 exhibitors from more than 90 countries, the event is set to reaffirm its reputation as the year’s most influential meeting point for the global fruit and vegetable sector. This year’s motto, "Fruitful Connections," highlights the event's focus on fostering meaningful partnerships and collaboration within the industry.

Building “Fruitful Connections”.

Italy Leads the Charge with Strong Exhibition Presence

Held across 26 exhibition halls, this year’s event has attracted large numbers of exhibitors from Italy, The Netherlands, Spain, Germany, and France. Italy, in fact, with more than 400 exhibitors, has effectively formed a dedicated trade show of its own within the walls of Messe Berlin.

Key Markets Expand at FRUIT LOGISTICA 2025

This year’s FRUIT LOGISTICA reflects impressive recent growth in several fresh produce markets, with record-breaking participation by China, Turkey and Egypt, and notable increases too for Spain and Peru. China’s presence has grown by one-third, Turkey’s is 12 per cent bigger, and Israel, which has a strong presence in Machinery & Technology, has expanded by a remarkable 20 per cent.

FRUIT LOGISTICA 2025 will host a diverse range of international delegations. On the first day of the trade show for example, delegates from several Central and South American countries will be welcomed, following their Latin America Conference on the day before the event. A delegation from the Guangzhou Jiangnan wholesale market, a key partner of ASIA FRUIT LOGISTICA, will also attend and participate in several productive meetings arranged by the event organizers.

Knowledge Sharing at Its Best: Expert Speakers and Sessions

As the fruit and vegetable industry navigates a complex landscape shaped by climate change, geopolitical tensions, rising production costs, and shifting consumer preferences, FRUIT LOGISTICA 2025 serves as an essential platform for knowledge sharing. The show features an unrivalled event program, with more than a hundred speakers ready to share thousands of fresh ideas across the show’s five stages. In fact, nowhere else in the world can trade visitors find such an extensive program of sessions focused on trends and innovation in fresh produce. The Fresh Produce Forum will explore key industry challenges such as supply chain resilience, sustainability, and regulatory changes, while the Future Lab will present cutting-edge solutions for securing yields despite extreme weather conditions. Meanwhile, the Tech Stage, Logistics Hub, and Farming Forward forums will cover a broad spectrum of industry-relevant topics, such as sustainable packaging, efficient cold chain logistics, and advancements in climate-resilient agriculture, among many others.

Exciting New Technologies on Display at Startup World

This year, for the first time, the hugely popular Startup World will be active for all three days of the event, which gives even more attention to some exciting and groundbreaking technologies. Trade visitors can expect to see pioneering technologies across agtech, digital farming, crop science, and post-harvest solutions. It’s a great opportunity to explore how these advancements can help make production more efficient and sustainable. Startups from around the world will showcase innovative solutions that leverage digitisation, artificial intelligence, and modern sensor technology. In the Startup World in Hall 3.1, FRUIT LOGISTICA is providing young companies with the opportunity to connect with industry leaders, potential partners, and international visitors to foster valuable business relationships.

Exclusive Resources: Trend Report and European Statistics Handbook

Trade visitors can take advantage of two exclusive resources. The Trend Report 2025 highlights emerging trade flows and supply trends that will transform the international fresh produce market. The European Statistics Handbook 2025 provides a handy collection of valuable information on the continent's major markets and producers, as well as on the main commodity flows for fruit and vegetables that support the import-export business. Both resources provide valuable insights to help industry professionals navigate shifting market dynamics and identify future opportunities.

Fruitful Friday: Networking, Science, and Fun Activities

Towards the end of the week, FRUIT LOGISTICA’s Fruitful Friday on 7 February provides visitors with a whole day dedicated to in-depth networking and scientific presentations, plus some more light-hearted activities like a mascot race by Messe Berlin’s South Entrance. The day also includes a must-attend presentation ceremony for the annual FRUIT LOGISTICA Innovation Awards.
