Mexico is one of the world’s leading exporters of fresh fruits and vegetables. To unlock new growth opportunities beyond its traditional markets, Messe Berlin Americas and Mexico’s National Agricultural Council (Consejo Nacional Agropecuario, CNA) have entered into a multi-year strategic partnership aimed at strengthening the international reach and competitiveness of the country’s fresh produce sector.
The collaboration combines the global market expertise, industry intelligence, and international networks of FRUIT LOGISTICA and ASIA FRUIT LOGISTICA with the leadership and industry representation of the CNA, Mexico’s most influential agricultural business organization. Together, the partners will create new pathways to international markets, business development, and industry collaboration for Mexican producers and exporters.
Mexico exports some of the world’s most sought-after fresh produce, including avocados, tomatoes, berries, peppers, mangoes, and citrus fruits. As global demand for fresh products continues to grow, the country is well positioned to expand its presence in international markets.
The partnership will help Mexican producers and exporters reach new buyers, gain insights into global market trends, and strengthen their presence in Europe, Asia, and other high-growth regions through the international networks of FRUIT LOGISTICA and ASIA FRUIT LOGISTICA.
A key milestone of the partnership will be Messe Berlin Americas’ participation in the 23rd Global Agribusiness Forum 2026, one of Mexico’s leading agricultural forums, organized by the CNA and taking place on November 26–27, 2026.
As a strategic partner, Messe Berlin Americas will bring international expertise, market intelligence, and access to the global FRUIT LOGISTICA network to the event.
The collaboration will strengthen business connections across Latin America while further increasing the visibility of the FRUIT LOGISTICA brand throughout Central America, South America, and the Caribbean.
Another cornerstone of the partnership is the launch of the FRUIT LOGISTICA Mexico Meetup in May 2027, a dedicated conference and networking event designed to bring together stakeholders from across the fresh produce value chain.
The event will connect producers, exporters, importers, retailers, logistics providers, industry associations, and sector experts to exchange insights, discuss market developments, and build new business relationships. At the same time, it will showcase the quality, diversity, and innovation of Mexican fresh produce and further strengthen Mexico’s role in international fresh produce trade.

“Mexico boasts one of the most dynamic and competitive fresh produce industries in the world. Through this alliance, we aim to connect the sector with the conversations, trends, and opportunities that are shaping the future of international fruit and vegetable trade. Our goal is for more Mexican companies to expand their reach and strengthen their presence in strategic markets globally”, said Vicente Salas Hesselbach, Vice President and Managing Director Americas Messe Berlin.
“Mexico is now one of the world’s leading agri-food powers. With exports exceeding US$50 billion in 2025, we have consolidated our position as a reliable and strategic supplier of food products to global markets. This alliance represents an opportunity to expand our international presence, diversify markets, and accelerate the growth and expansion of Mexico’s agri-food sector,” said Jorge Esteve Recolons, President of the National Agricultural Council (CNA).
