Agronova Biotech strengthens its commitment to biological innovation with the launch of Bloomis at Fruit Attraction 2026
- Agronova Biotech will officially present its new microbial biostimulant on 7 October at 1:00 PM at stand 7C25 in Hall 7.
Agronova Biotech will participate in Fruit Attraction 2026, one of the leading international events for the fruit and vegetable sector, taking place at IFEMA Madrid. The company will welcome customers, distributors and industry professionals at stand 7C25 in Hall 7, where it will showcase its latest innovations in biostimulation.
One of the main highlights of this year’s participation will be Bloomis, a new microbial solution developed by Agronova Biotech to improve crop resilience to water stress. The product will be officially launched on 7 October at 1:00 PM during a dedicated presentation at the company’s stand.
Bloomis: stronger roots, better establishment and greater resilience
Bloomis is a microbial biostimulant based on Pseudomonas putida Bs3. The product is available in a distinctive soluble powder formulation, with a concentration up to 50 times higher than standard liquid formulations.
The solution also incorporates bioprotective microencapsulation, designed to improve product stability and effectiveness.
Its specifically selected bioactive compounds act on root development and on several physiological mechanisms associated with plant responses to water stress. They help maintain plant activity and growth when water availability becomes a limiting factor.
This effect is particularly relevant during periods of high physiological demand, such as flowering, which is one of the stages most sensitive to stress.
Under these conditions, Bloomis supports floral induction, promotes greater flower formation and helps strengthen the crop’s yield potential.
In trials conducted with 50% less water supply, plants treated with Bloomis maintained growth levels similar to fully irrigated control plants. These results highlight the product’s potential to support more efficient water use and greater crop resilience under conditions of limited water availability.

When timing is critical: why use bumblebees to pollinate melon crops?
1 September 2026
Using bumblebees has been shown to significantly boost melon size, sweetness and market value of the crop. Timing is everything when pollinating melon crops to maximise returns for growers. With separate male and female flowers on the same plant, each melon flower opens once for a short period early in the day. Prompt efficient pollen transfer is essential to optimise fruit set. »
