TOMRA Food has opened a new customer service center in Bengaluru
26 June 2019
The state-of-the-art facility of approximately 4000 square ft enables TOMRA Food to showcase its expertise and innovative approach to sorting produce such as cereals, pulses, nuts, raisins, dehydrated vegetables, coffee and many more, to new and existing customers.
Abhishek Bhargava, Area Sales Manager India at TOMRA Food: “Our new customer service center is easily accessible. This helps us achieve our objective of being closer to customers, where we can help them choose the right sorting solutions for local and regional produce.
“The facility is a strategic investment for the further expansion of TOMRA Food that will help us strengthen our relationships in the region. We are excited about its potential and look forward to enhancing our capabilities in India.”
The facility features a demonstration and testing area where TOMRA can interactively showcase its sorting systems to clients. During a demonstration, customers can view a simulation of how products would be sorted and defects identified in their own production environment, using one of the many TOMRA sorting solutions available.
Abhishek adds: “Our India facility allows a great number of efficiencies to be made on behalf of our customers, including improved logistical access and quicker response times. Both these developments will ultimately help food processors improve profitability.”
The new service center will be staffed by a 13-strong expert team of TOMRA Food residents, and highly-trained customer experience specialists and technicians. The company is also hiring additional experts to support this recent expansion. Find out more:
