Marlene®, the apple daughter of the Alps
25 November 2019
South Tyrolean nature is a true paradise for those who want to find a moment to relax thanks to the sounds and colours of its mountain landscapes. Marlene®, the apple daughter of the Alps, also offers this experience to those who do not live in its country of origin thanks to the Marlene® Soundsite, the website that gathers the sounds and impressions of the South Tyrolean mountains at various times of the day and in different weather conditions.
To fully enjoy the relaxation of South Tyrol - Südtirol, simply connect to Homeofmarlene.com and select the desired weather with the appropriate controls: the sun, with birds singing in the trees, wind moving the branches, pouring rain and even a storm. The sounds are accompanied by a typical view of the South Tyrolean valleys, which changes atmosphere depending on which settings are selected.
The project is not limited to the website: to bring the sounds of the Alps everywhere, in the future the audio project will reach Spotify, YouTube and the social media platforms where the Marlene® brand is most active and best known: Instagram and Facebook.
“The land of South Tyrol - Südtirol is the element that makes Marlene® apples special, as we emphasize with the ‘daughter of the Alps’ slogan,” comments Hannes Tauber, Marketing Manager of VOG, the South Tyrolean consortium that brings together nearly 5,000 farming families entrusted with the care and cultivation of Marlene® apples. “With this site we want to give people the opportunity to recreate the atmosphere of our land in any place and at any time. The elements of the Soundsite – sun, rain and wind, as well as the alternation of day and night – were chosen to illustrate the origin of Marlene® and the area’s rich climate, which is the basis of our apples’ unique taste.”
