At the meeting of the Organising and Advisory Committee of FRUIT ATTRACTION, the programme of technical conferences was developed, in particular the 4th International Congress of Stone Fruit, Stone Fruit Attraction, Bio-fruit Congress, and Biotechnology Attraction. Also, there will be two specific days on Singapore and India, the importing countries invited this year, to be developed within the framework of the World Fresh Forum, a business networking space which, organised together with the ICEX, will address commercial relations between these countries and enable the presentation of business opportunities.

Fruit Attraction will also promote, in this eleventh edition, areas such as Organic Hub, dedicated to companies with organic horticultural products; the Smart Agro space, focused on the application of new technologies and connectivity with the aim of increasing the productivity of horticultural farms, and the Nuts Hub area, dedicated to nuts. The Innovation Hub and Foro Innova will once again be areas dedicated to innovation and business innovations in the sector. In this area, the fair will host the Accelera Awards for Innovation and Entrepreneurship, which have become a fundamental event for the support of entrepreneurship in the sector.

After last year’s good reception, the Flower & Garden Attraction space for the professional sector of marketers of flowers and live plants, will be located in Hall 6, which will also host the Ecorganic market space as a new feature.

As for the Fruit Attraction gastronomic space, Fruit Fusion will continue to be held but under a new name: Factory Chef, where they will perform attractive demonstrations with fruit and vegetables and show-cooking.

The Organising Committee of FRUIT ATTRACTION mainly comprises representatives from Associations which make up FEPEX, from IFEMA and from the distribution, wholesalers and markets associations. The meetings of the Organising Committee coincide with those of the Advisory Committee in which promotional representatives from the autonomous communities involved in the holding of the fair also take part.
