Companies are choosing the Smart Agro space as a showcase to exhibit their latest advances in Technology Solutions for the fruit and vegetable sector.

Around 30 companies have chosen to exhibit at Smart Agro at Fruit Attraction 2017, a new area in Hall 8 that will drive technology, knowledge and innovation for more precise, efficient, profitable and competitive agriculture.

From 18 to 20 September, exhibitors participating in Smart Agro will offer solutions from farming to final marketing to consumers: Apps, drones, software / hardware, IoT, BigData, ERPs, monitoring, automation, robotics, sensors, field notebooks, digitalisation, with the aim of increasing productivity, food quality and safety; to improve added value, equity and the flexibility of the agri-food chain; efficient and sustainable use of natural resources; as well as to improve strategic intelligence systems and aid in decision-making.

In addition to all these benefits, the Smart Agro Forum will host a full programme of professional seminars  with fascinating content, such as "Big Data" in the agricultural sector: decide and act with precision based on far more data, organised by Hispatec; SmarTemp: integral system for monitoring and control of the Cold Chain, by Aicox Soluciones S.A.; A new solution of detection and protection against hail, courtesy of Zaragozan Pyrotechnics; Digital Agro: Efficiency for fruit processing plants , coordinated by Digitalizarte S.L.U.; The digital transformation of the agri-food company, by Gregal Soluciones Informáticas; IOT + Agriculture = Precision Farming, organised by Argotec Ingeniería.

The International Trade Show for the Fruit and Vegetable Industry, in addition to being the indispensable tool to position products in the international market for fresh produce, is a space reserved for innovation and maximum optimisation of the profitability of the fruit and vegetable companies.

Organised by IFEMA and FEPEX, the ninth version of the trade fair will take place from 18 to 20 October in Halls 5, 6, 7, 8, 9 and 10 at Ifema. Once again, this year, the sector is committed to this top-level business event, which in eight years has succeeded in positioning itself at the forefront of the international fruit and vegetable trade, with more than 1,500 participating companies and 60,000 trade visitors from 110 countries.
