More than 450 participants from all over the world will join the Bulgarian exhibitions

More than 450 Bulgarian and foreign participants will attend at MEATMANIA, THE WORLD OF MILK, BULPEK, SALON DU VIN, INTERFOOD & DRINK and SIHRE exhibitions. They will be held from 8 to 11 November in Sofia, Bulgaria.The exhibitions to be held at Inter Expo Center have proved to be the most successful business forum for entering into Bulgarian market. This year, the new exhibitors are 123 companies. So far, a total of 78 foreign participants from Argentina, Austria, Belgium, Great Britain, Greece, Spain, Italy, Poland, Portugal, the Republic of Korea, Thailand, the Netherlands, Ukraine, Iran and South Africa have declared their participation. The Embassy of Republic of Argentina, the British Embassy, South African Embassy and the Trade and Investment Promotion Section of Embassy of the Republic of Poland are also among the exhibitors.

Italy and Great Britain will arrange their group stands. For another consecutive year Bulgarian producers will present group participations of meat processors, bakers, dairy producers, wine producers, fruit and vegetable processors and organic producers.

More than 22,000 professionals
22,000+ professionals are expected to visit MEATMANIA, THE WORLD OF MILK, BULPEK, SALON DU VIN, INTERFOOD & DRINK and SIHRE. Increased number of companies exhibiting machinery and technology and strong presence of leading brands for coffee, vending equipment and accessories are some of the main highlights of the events this year. The exhibition halls will feature specially designated BIO ZONE and DIET & FITNESS ZONE, where organic and healthy food products can be tasted.

The side-events program
During the exhibition days, Inter Expo Center will be the stage of numerous accompanying events. The national qualification for the most prestigious culinary competition Bocuse d'Or will be held on 9th of November, while the Bulgarian Association of Profesional Chefs event - GastronomiX will be held during all exhibitions days. Visitors also will have the opportunity to feel and taste the atmosphere of the International Pizza Championship.

One of the highlights of the side event program will be the Bulgarian bio-products within the forum "Bulgarian Organic Products during the Bulgarian Presidency of the Council of the EU”, organized by the Bulgarian Organic Products Association. The professionals whose activities and interests are in the field of kosher and halal production and certification will have the chance to participate at the conference “Kosher & Halal Certifications: a passport to export “, organized by Hellenic International Business Association.
“Grow up healthy and strong”, a food tasting about the qualities of Bulgarian canned fruits and vegetables, organized by the Union on processors of fruit and vegetables in Bulgaria. The admirers of one of the most popular drinks - coffee will enjoy the barista competition, organized by Baristo University and Rancillio.

The "Prize Pack" National Competition awarding ceremony will highlight the best packaging for 2017. As a tradition for consecutive year, the organizers will award quality and original market products and/or additives, presented by exhibitors within the Golden medal with diploma contest.
