9 April 2026

The International Hospitality Suppliers and Services Show announces the start of the sales phase for its second edition.

GUEXTthe International Hospitality Suppliers and Services Showorganised by IFEMA MADRID in partnership with FELAC (the Spanish Federation of Associations of Equipment Manufacturers for Hospitality, Institutional Catering, and Related Industries), announces the launch of sales for its second edition, which will take place from 15 to 17 October.

Held biennially and under the slogan 'The Right Place, the Right Time', GUEXT once again brings together seven primary sectors: foodservice equipment; tableware; hospitality interiors and design; tech and digital solutions; coffee, tea, bakery, pastry, and ice cream; delivery and packaging; and wellness and gym. These sectors are related to the hospitality industry and connected to the distribution network and the end customer, with the objective of serving as a specialised commercial and professional tool to boost the entire hospitality industry.

GUEXT 2026 arrives at a time when private consumption and demand for tourism and social and healthcare services: the main sectors comprising the hospitality and institutional catering market: are evolving favourably. Consequently, business grew by between 5% and 7%, according to the Special Report 'Hospitality and Institutional Catering Market' published by the DBK Sector Observatory of INFORMA. Furthermore, the hospitality sector in Spain employed 1.83 million people last year, according to data from the National Statistics Institute (INE).

GUEXT held its inaugural edition from 18 to 21 October 2024, welcoming 7,000 professionals from 42 countries and more than 130 exhibitors representing the entire hospitality value chain, with a focus on innovation, sustainability, and the customer experience.
