ASIA FRUIT LOGISTICA launches Asia roadshow of Business Meet-Ups

19 January 2024

Asia’s premier fresh produce trade show to launch series of Business Meet-Ups across key markets in Asia as it sets course for Hong Kong on 4-6 September 2024.

ASIA FRUIT LOGISTICA is going deeper into markets across Asia with content-backed regional networking events to connect with leading players and build even greater momentum for the show’s return to Hong Kong on 4-6 September 2024.

ASIA FRUIT LOGISTICA has selected four key markets for its Business Meet-Up series – Indonesia, India, Thailand, and China – to deepen engagement with their diverse and vibrant fresh produce communities.

Further increasing its footprint across the region, the Business Meet-Up series kicks off in Jakarta, Indonesia on 27 February. The roadshow then heads to Mumbai, India, where ASIA FRUIT LOGISTICA is the Official Partner of Fresh Produce India on 21-22 March, organised by Fruitnet. Thailand is the next stop, with a Business Meet-Up in Bangkok to be held on 3 April. And the final stop is Shanghai, China, where ASIA FRUIT LOGISTICA hosts a special event on 27-28 May.

“ASIA FRUIT LOGISTICA is delighted to introduce these Meet-Ups to bring existing and future partners together and deepen our connections in these key markets,” said David Axiotis, Managing Director of Global Produce Events, the organiser of ASIA FRUIT LOGISTICA. “The launch of our Business Meet-Ups underlines our commitment to understanding and fostering the growth of the fresh produce business in Asia. By engaging directly with these diverse markets, we believe we can create more opportunities and value for all ASIA FRUIT LOGISTICA visitors and exhibitors.”

Hendry Sim, Vice Director of leading Indonesian fresh produce importer-distributor Laris Manis Utama, welcomed ASIA FRUIT LOGISTICA’s move to launch its Business Meet-Up.

“ASIA FRUIT LOGISTICA is a great place to do business and a key industry event not to be missed. Every September we meet so many people from across the world. We’re glad to see the roadshow come to Jakarta so the news of ASIA FRUIT LOGISTICA can reach a bigger audience here in Indonesia.”

Wipavee Watcharakorn, CEO of Vachamon Food, one of Thailand’s most established fresh fruit importers, also hailed the roadshow initiative.  “ASIA FRUIT LOGISTICA has been a must-attend event for us for years where we can meet many of our partners from around the globe in one go,” said Watcharakorn. “This is a dynamic industry with so much to learn from our suppliers and customers. We are happy to support the roadshow programme in Bangkok and explore new ideas and opportunities together.”
