Grüne Woche Update Day 4

22 January 2024

The new week starts at the Grüne Woche with the State Days of Brandenburg, Saxony-Anhalt and Saxony. Visitors can look forward to an extensive stage programme, regional cuisine and lots of music. Federal Chancellor Olaf Scholz will also be visiting the Grüne Woche this morning to find out about moors, forestry, artificial intelligence in agriculture, the bakery trade and the future of food, among other things. Learning made easy

Communicating information about the body and nutrition is not easy. The Federal Association of the German Food Industry, the German Food Association and the Federal Institute for Risk Assessment have opted for a playful approach. With competitions, tasty treats, quiz formats and scientific talks, they take visitors to the Grüne Woche into the diverse world of nutrition. Read more

Sweets from Europe

Pastéis de Nata from Portugal, nut waffles from Italy or the French speciality Nougat de Montélimar bring back holiday memories for many people. At Grüne Woche exhibitors, visitors can savour them directly from the producers and try recipes that are sometimes centuries old. Read more

Those who shine for their products and regions

Mobile phones are pulled out, visitors crowd the paths and the stage, everyone is watching. It is rare to see so many, mostly young women in princess outfits or local costumes in the capital. At the ErlebnisBauernhof in Hall 3.2, they are given the stage once a year as representatives of the most diverse product groups and regions. Read more
