The countdown has begun: medFEL will celebrate its 16th edition on 28–29 April 2026 at the Perpignan Exhibition Centre. With nearly 20% new exhibitors, expected international buyers, mobilized interprofessional organizations, and a strategic program for the sector, all indicators point to a particularly promising edition.
As a must-attend event for the fruit and vegetable sector in France, medFEL confirms its role as a strategic platform by bringing together all committed stakeholders in the industry.
Exhibitor loyalty speaks for itself: nearly 80% of participants from the 2025 edition have confirmed their attendance for 2026. Alongside them, 33 exhibitors are joining for the first time, including 26 producers.

The trade show clearly reinforces its role as a unifying force for the entire sector: for the 2026 edition, medFEL will welcome ANEEFEL (the French National Association of Fruit and Vegetable Shippers and Exporters) for the first time. The association provides its members with tools and information (quality procedures, social matters, etc.), promotes the profession, and serves as a platform for exchange and sharing of experience.
Alongside them, Interfel, the French interprofessional organization for fresh fruits and vegetables, will also be present with a booth to highlight its work as it celebrates its 50th anniversary.
These are two key pillars of the sector coming together to share initiatives, strengthen exchanges, and collectively drive the industry forward.
Since 2023, medFEL has been fully committed to employment challenges within the sector through medEMPLOI. In 2026, medEMPLOI will highlight the attractiveness of careers and the transmission of know-how, two major challenges for the future of the sector, through a job dating event in partnership with France Travail, as well as workshop-conferences in partnership with the Occitanie Fruit and Vegetable Federation.
For over 15 years, medFEL has been thriving in the heart of Occitania, a strategic region for French agricultural production. Perpignan is Europe’s leading hub for fruit and vegetable distribution and a major logistics center, which reinforces the trade show’s mission: connecting producers, distributors, and buyers at both national and international level.
more than 64,000 farms
France’s leading agricultural region
2nd largest French producer of fruits and vegetables
1st region for organic farming and certified products
This year, 15% of exhibitors are international. Algeria, Poland, Spain, Italy, Switzerland, Belgium, Greece, New Zealand and many more: medFEL confirms its international appeal by bringing together producers and companies from around the world in Perpignan to develop new partnerships.
With the support of 30 VIP international buyers, selected and qualified by AD’OCC, medFEL stands out as a business accelerator for industry professionals.
Buyers will come in particular from Germany, Belgium, Brazil, Colombia, Denmark, Spain, Hong Kong, Lithuania, Mexico, Poland, Portugal, the Czech Republic, the United Kingdom, Slovakia, Slovenia, Sweden, Thailand, Tunisia, and Vietnam.
The Occitania Region Pavilion reflects this dynamic, featuring 21 regional exhibitors.
For two days, medFEL becomes the place where major sector developments are analyzed and shaped.
As key highlights of the event and highly anticipated by professionals, the following will of course be part of the program:
European forecasts for apricot harvests
plum harvest forecasts
melon planting forecasts
As for the European forecasts for peach and nectarine harvests, they will be announced during an exclusive webinar (in French, English, Spanish, and Italian) on 21 May 2026.
medFEL remains closely aligned with the sector’s expectations and needs, extending its connection with the market well beyond the two days of the trade show.
