From Astro-Dumplings and Craft Beer to Carp and Venison Cold Cuts… Private Label Trade Fair Surprises with Diversity
Producers from Poland, Turkey, Germany, the Czech Republic, China and Romania will present original products to buyers representing key retail chains — from Eurocash, Społem Coop and Kaufland to Turkish and Uzbek retailers — on 22–23 October at Targi Kielce. Their business talks are expected to result in the introduction of new private-label products for consumers. Admission to the fair is free upon registration.
“The Private Label Trade Fair is a business platform that connects producers and suppliers with representatives of retail chains, wholesalers, e-commerce and the HoReCa sector,”
says Małgorzata Ozdoba, event manager at Targi Kielce.
“The outcome of these meetings will be new domestic and international partnerships bringing fresh private-label products to retail shelves and consumers’ baskets. Exhibitors, following private-label trends, focus on high quality and uniqueness, and their offer is exceptionally diverse.”
The Kielce-based company LYOFOOD, known even from outer space, will present freeze-dried food at the stand of the City of Kielce. Among its products are dishes from the Bonus Food and Lyo Astro Menu lines once used by astronauts — including astro-dumplings, astro tomato soup, astro vegetable stew, and astro apple crumble dessert.
Other market exclusives will include long-matured venison and fallow-deer cold cuts from Pawęta Quality Meat. Vion Food will showcase high-quality fresh meat products for retail and foodservice, while Bacówka will present traditional cold cuts listed on Poland’s Register of Traditional Products. The meat section will also feature carp in various forms, presented by the Polski Karp organization.
Confectionery ranges will be displayed by Mat Starachowice, Ice Dots, and Czech Fammilky, offering unique sweets and chocolates. The fruit and vegetable segment will be represented by Ewa-Bis and the Refal Fruit and Vegetable Producers Group.
Romanian Alconor Company, Polish Bewa and Browar Koreb will showcase a wide range of products — from soft drinks to craft beers. Bike Cafe will introduce a novelty: Bagdrip coffee in single-use dripper sachets with a built-in filter and portion of ground coffee.
The spice sector will include Svanska Sól, offering a new Georgian regional blend, and Agropole, presenting seasoning mixes for gastronomy and bakeries.
The functional and organic food category will feature Polish companies Amber Nutrition, Serabio, BioMami, Bacilus, and Czech DM Hermes. Dairy and ready-meal products will be presented by Alpan (Poland) and Semix(Czech Republic). The Manufaktura Żuru i Barszczy Bracia Piskorkowie will return for the third time, bringing its regional and acclaimed sour rye soup (żur).
In the non-food segment, the pet-food industry will have strong representation. Exhibitors include FeedPro (natural-ingredient pet food), Rettenmeier (high-quality feed components), Global Pet Food (meat pâtés and sachets), and Czech Dibaq (premium and super-premium nutrition programs). From Turkey, Ateşler Bakliyat will present dry goods, and Lider Bentonit will showcase cat litter.
Cosmetics and hygiene products will also take an important place at the fair — including Alpasya Kozmetik (Turkey) with mini wet wipes, and Polish companies Delko, Helbo, Mastchef and MS Poland, all presenting innovative private-label product lines. German Nölken Hygiene Products will exhibit wet wipes, nursing pads and baby care cosmetics.
Household goods producers will also be present — Pollena Paczków and Beyster (household chemicals), W. Lewandowski (toilet paper), Rocket Poland (batteries) and Allbe (tools and storage containers). A special stand will also be prepared by Alibaba Group (owner of AliExpress), whose representatives will present various retail-oriented services.
Buyers and experts from major retail chains, wholesalers, HoReCa and e-commerce sectors will attend the fair. Confirmed participants include Eurocash, Leclerc, Netto, Lewiatan, Społem Coop, Społem KPH, Bricomarche, Amic, Auchan, Kaufland, Polomarket, SPAR, Orzech, Topaz, Stokrotka, Carrefour and Dealz. Delegations from Turkey (Onur Perakende, Özen Gıda, Memişler Çay), as well as from Uzbekistan and Romania, will also take part.
The business dimension of the Private Label Trade Fair will be enhanced by the Future Private Labels Summit, a series of lectures and debates highlighting strategies and trends in the FMCG sector. Among the speakers are:
Michał Maksymiec, Retail Vertical Client Director at YouGov
Sławomir Kołodziej, Director of Non-Food Purchasing at Kaufland
Radosław Dac, Product Director at Auchan Retail Polska
Parallel industry events will also take place for the meat and pet-food sectors, coordinated by Marek Bielski, market expert and publisher of Rzeźnik Polski magazine (GEMINI GROUP). The debut Pet Food Congress and the Meat Industry & Modern Trade Round Table will discuss the most pressing topics for both industries.
